Captain Bob Pride is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain with a 50 ton master qualification for carrying passengers in the Chesapeake Bay and up to 100 miles offshore. He is also licensed by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission for operating a charter vessel in Virginia waters.

Pride Charter Service provides fishing and sightseeing charters leaving from various locations in Hampton Roads. All fishing trips include bait, tackle, fishing licenses and snacks. Sightseeing trips can include a meal or snacks at the customer's option. See Trip Options for details.

Any trip may be aboard the Pride Charter Service boat or your own boat. Pride Charters operates a 21 foot wide beam SeaPro center console with a single Yamaha four stroke outboard. This boat is designed for light tackle and shallow water fishing, The primary areas fished are Poquoson and Drum Island Flats, York Spit and the Goodwin Islands, and the Back River and Poquoson Reefs.
